Evaluation – Assessing inventory is a crucial part of the Prime Chromatic process. Before any works begins we will provide you with a detailed overview of your collection to define the integrity, risk of loss, levels of deterioration to best determine your desired level of preservation.

Organize – After we take inventory, we sort, rename and rehouse your collection into a tailored digital environment and repositories that suit your specific needs.

Metadata – Once scanned, all files are fully processed with IPTC core metadata. Suggestions are made according to industry standard, and additional custom taxonomy is applied.

Scanning – Using dedicated film scanners, all highest generation originals are scanned at preservation specifications.

Storage – Choosing the best media and file formats will ensure that your digital files will be safe for years to come. We use external drives as well as complete LTO tape backup for offline safety.

We also offer long-term solutions like Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, a custom database to house and make searchable for instant recall.
